Anyone with a 3C Media Solutions (TechConnect Cloud) account can add media to a playlist. If you have a Faculty and Staff account, please click here for additional information.

To add media to a playlist, please follow these steps:

• Be sure you are logged into your 3C Media Solutions (TechConnect Cloud) account
• Browse the 3C Media Solutions (TechConnect Cloud) website
• Find a video (or audio) file you would like to add to a playlist
• Click "Add to Playlist"
• Select the playlist you want to add the media to
• Click "Save"

The Folders feature will allow you to organize the media you will be using. To create a Folder, please follow the steps below:

• From "My Media" within you 3C account, click on "Create Folder"
• Where prompted, name the folder you will be creating
• Click "Create"

The checkboxes on the left of video lists allows you to select files to perform batch operations. Current options allow you to:

• move the selected files to another folder
• generate lists of links to the selected files
  • paste into other websites or course management systems.

To "Create Link List”*

• From within a folder, check the box next to the files you wish to include in the list
• In the "With Selected” drop down, select "Create List Link"
• Click “Go”

You will be shown a list of links to the videos you selected. You can copy and paste these links to external websites.

• Plain List – list of just the links
• HTML Links – links with html
• Embeds – a list of iframe embeds for the videos

*(folders are not supported in the list at this time)

Playlist can be created by following the steps below:

• From your account page, click on "My Playlists"
• Click on "Create New Playlist"
• Where prompted, type the name of the Playlist you'd like to create
• From "Share Permissions" drop down list, select "Public", (playlist will be listed on the 3C website), "Protected", (playlist will not be listed on the 3C site and will require a unique link to access), "Private", (playlist will be visible only to you). Note: most often playlists are "Protected".
• Click "Save"

To "Move" files:

• From within a folder, check the box next to the files you wish to move or list
• In the "With Selected” drop down, select "Move"
• Click “Go”
• You will be prompted for a destination folder - choose your folder and click “Move”

For each folder you have, you can customize how you want the contents sorted.

• Under "Folder "Sorting", choose from the dropdown list:
• Click the "Folder Settings" button.
• Click on the folder you wish to make change to.
  • Folder Sorting
    • Title (default and original setting)
    • Create/Date, Ascending
    • Create/Date, Descending
    • Custom/Weight
      • To create a custom sort, click "Sort Order" on a folder page. You can drag and drop items or click "show row weights" to adjust the sorting weight of items. Click "Save Changes" to save your sort order.
  • The sort method you use will be reflected on all the media lists within the folder.

Once you have content in a folder you can set it to display as a playlist. To do so:

• Click on “Folder Options / Link” to modify the folders settings
• Click the checkbox “Use folder as playlist”
• Click “Save Settings”
