Cynthia Ainsworth will be going over equity-minded rubrics and their use in the library. Equity-minded student services play a critical role in ensuring equitable student outcomes. Librarian Cynthia Ainsworth (Hartnell College) will share the Equity-Minded Rubric for Service Areas that can be adapted among various academic and student services. Utilizing the equity-minded student services framework developed by Dr. Luke Wood and Dr. Frank Harris III, the Equity-Minded Rubric for Service Areas is meant to be used as a guide for student service areas (such as the library) to review and reimagine service area outcomes with an equity lens and implement equity-minded strategies.
