Elsie Allen, Master Basketweaver and Teacher, is interviewed in this video, filmed at the Ya-Ka-Ama Indian Education and Development Center in 1980 by filmmaker Dan Bluthardt. In this video, Elsie Allen talks about her family’s baskets, inherited from her mother, Annie Burke, and discusses the many original uses for the baskets.
