As a part of the online professional development offered at Glendale Community College and to inform campus partners about information as a commodity, Aisha Conner-Gaten developed a one-hour module called "Taking Action for Information Equity and Access" in Canvas. This module introduces our colleagues to concepts related to information equity and suggests strategies to build information competency for themselves and their students. In this webinar, Aisha Conner-Gaten describes her process for developing the content in this module, explains best practices for creating content of this kind for non-library folks, and lists resources used in her instructional design practice.
