Marc Cormier, Product Manager Lead at ProQuest, is interested in learning about specific content and user experience needs of students, faculty, and libraries in the community college space. ProQuest is conceptualizing a multidisciplinary product crafted specifically for community colleges, focusing on the most important and relevant content for students whether their goal is to earn an associates degree, build towards a 4-year degree, or focus on certifications in the trades, nursing, or other skilled professions. The goal is to understand what “comprehensive” means to faculty and students at the community college level and what kind of interface/user experience will best support research success for students regardless of their academic goals.
