This presentation summarizes the findings and interpretations of research done on differences between how online and face-to-face college freshman perform on student learning outcomes. It is a mixed methods study that presents both the results of writing and reading assessments, and interviews and surveys in order to combine a statistical evaluation with the perspective of students.
