Cypress College alumnus Trevor Hoffman ­— who retired from the San Diego Padres as Major League Baseball's all-time saves leader — is being honored by the Cypress College Foundation as the Man of the Year at the 38th Annual Americana Awards. The awards will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2013, at the Disneyland Hotel.
