Jennifer Caspellan shared her inspiring story of second chances during the 37th Annual Americana Awards in February 2012. Then the Student Trustee, Ms. Caspellan went on to become the college's 2012 Outstanding Graduate of the Year, and later enrolled in the conservatory-style bachelor's of fine arts Stage Management program at the University of Southern California. Ms. Caspellan was invited to update her story and update her progress at USC for the 38th Annual Americana Awards, which were held on Saturday, February, 23, 2013, at the Disneyland Hotel.
