Among the changes already affecting higher education is technology. The FDC and Title V Co-op are proud to present our fall 2012 FLEX featured speaker, Jim Gaston. Mr. Gaston is Associate Director of Information Technology for the South Orange County Community College District. His discussion will cover how technology has radically transformed the way students read, listen to music, purchase gifts, watch television, make "friends" and socialize. This transformation has forever changed the book, music, television and movie industries. At this session we'll explore the provocative idea that higher education might be next in line for change. Are we immune from the decentralizing power of technology that has transformed multi-billion dollar industries?
