Description
The distribution of "isolines" on any type of Isoline Map expresses some sort of gradient. Across a gradient, (a) what's the direction along which some sort of flow may subsequently occur, and (b) what determines the rate of such flow? These questions are answered for running water (or balls) across the contours of a Topo Map, and for winds (or air molecules) across the isobars of a Weather Map.
