The College of the Desert has offered Distance Education courses in various disciplines since the 1990s. So it was a surprise to discover its level of disarray when I became the DE chair. After years of work, the program is currently robust, compliant and staffed. Attendees will learn about the steps taken to improve the program, the established regulations, and current processes to follow these regulations
