Description

Group work online is tricky, and it usually includes a little managed chaos. But with the right planning, design, and student preparation, group work is fun and engaging for students. It draws them out of their anonymity and into a circle of students working together toward a common goal. Our reward comes at the end, when we watch as students connect, interact, solve problems, help each other, and present their work. This session includes examples in Canvas and Desire2Learn, supplemented with VoiceThread, in addition to sample participation rubrics and group work plans.
