This presentation will examine several strategies an instructor can use to stimulate critical thinking in an online environment. Participants will explore how curriculum can be enhanced by analyzing learning tasks and combining them with computer functions that deliberately promote critical thinking and develop higher order thinking skills. Participants were encouraged to bring a syllabus or course outline. Time was set aside to examine their material for ways technology can be incorporated to promote critical thinking.
