Riverside City College football drops its season opener against Ventura College, 28-27. The Tigers' 19-game winning streak is snapped and it is coach Tom Craft's second lost as RCC's coach in three seasons. RCC faces Palomar College on Saturday for Riverside's home opener at 6 p.m. at the Wheelock Stadium.
