Chapter 07 - Slide 12 Revisited - After the March 2020 Selloff

What difference a month makes! Here is slide #12 visited. In March of 2020, two large selloff days have caused us to revisit slide #12. The worst day on record is still October 19, 1987. But March 12th and March 16th of 2020 rocketed into the top five days of market declines. March 16th now ranks as the second worst day on record. However, this field of 13 days still contains six days in October and one day in early November. The fall is still the time when we humans panic the most.
