The Long Beach City College Spring Dance Ensemble will perform In Concert April 29, 30, May 1 and 2 in the Auditorium of the Liberal Arts Campus at Clark and Harvey Way. Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances are at 8 pm with a Sunday matinee at 2 pm.The concert is under the artistic direction of Sheree King and assistant director, Stephanie Powell, with costume design by Kim DeShazo and lighting design by Christina L. Munich. Long Beach City College Dance faculty choreographers Frances andOmowale Awe, Arlene Brackett, Sheree King, Holly Lampe and Stephanie Powell will present choreographic premieres. Guest choreographer, Andre Megerdichian, creates a new modern work for the ensemble exploring the inherent drama in spatial relationships. Several LBCC student choreographers will also present choreography.Ticket prices are $15 for general admission and $10 for LBCC students, faculty and seniors citizens and can be purchased at the Auditorium Box Office one hour before the performance.
