Description
An introduction for engineering students to applied vector mechanics of rigid bodies in static equilibrium. Students learn standard engineering techniques for the analysis of external and internal forces in structures, distributed force problems, friction, centroids, and moments of inertia. (CSU/UC) Students learn to use spreadsheet software to perform routine data analysis, including use of mathematical equations, statistical analysis, graphing, curve fitting, and a variety of numerical problem-solving techniques. (CSU) structures, functions, sequential files, and one-dimensional arrays.
