One aspect of the importance of water to the Earth's "Energy Budget" involves the change of water from its' various states-of-matter. This Video-Lecture focuses upon the resultant ENERGY-TRANSFORMATIONS that occur during the common Phase Changes of water-in-the-environment; specifically, from the "Sensible" to the "Latent" forms of Heat, or vice versa.

The focus is upon the effect of Phase Changes on the temperature of the ENVIRONMENT rather than upon the water-system itself (i.e., the context is from an Environmental/Earth Science perspective rather than from a Chemistry perspective).
