Join National Cyberwatch Center Director, Casey O'Brien to hear about efforts to improve community college cybersecurity education and what to expect from the cybersecurity track at this conference. Then, learn about the new cybersecurity framework developed by The National Initiative for Cybersecurity Education (NICE). This cybersecurity framework provides a common taxonomy and lexicon for cybersecurity work and personnel. Learn how the Framework has evolved using government, academia, and private sector programs to assist in the way it is built and maintained. Implementation of this framework across the federal government, and the development of competencies for workers is happening now. Join this session to learn more about the roll-out and impact that the framework will have on existing terminology and training programs. This session will also introduce tools that are available to aid participants in application of the framework.
