We speak with 2 students, Sophia Gann and Arnold Sloan from Laney College's Carpentry class about their experiences and the 'Dandelion Project'. The Carpentry Department offers students the carpentry skills necessary for careers as carpenters and general contractors. The program is designed for entry level people as well as those already working as carpenters. Classes are held on campus and at specific work sites off campus.
