The Journalism 65 class at Laney College welcomed a guest lecture by Kip Welch, vice president of MovieLabs and president of Entertainment ID Registry Association, a non-profit, industry-run service for cataloging commercial movie and TV content. Welch, an attorney, discussed copyright and other legal issues facing social media users. This event took place on March 22, 2013.
