Description

Lynn Strand leads a desktop seminar for @ONE on visual thinking, using graphical ways of working with ideas and presenting information. Visual learning is among the best methods for teaching students how to think and how to learn. Students learn to make abstract ideas visible and concrete, connect prior knowledge with new concepts, provide structure for thinking, and focus thoughts and ideas. Included in this workshop are mind mapping, images, integration, and resources for incorporating visual tools into curriculum.
