In the remote desert town of Holtville, on the eastern edge of California, is a paupers' cemetery with almost 750 unmarked graves of unidentified migrants.

It is the largest collection of non-military remains in the United States.

Los inmigrantes are unknown, but not unloved. They are not forgotten.

Border Angels, a San Diego County human rights organization, pays its respects to the dead and marks their graves with crosses that say: "You are not forgotten."

Border Angles founder Enrique Morones says the dead are victims of an inhumane immigration policy.Border Angels, Morones says, is determined to help change it.
