The Kyoto Tachibana Senior High School Green Band performing a benefit concert for the Earthquake and Tsunami victims of Northern Japan inside the Performing Arts Center at John F. Kennedy High School, located in La Palma, California on Tuesday, January 3rd 2012. This is an incredible band and they put on a great show! During the time when the band performs to Alan Menken's Go the Distance (around the 1:02:52 mark), band members take turns and go thank their host families for opening their doors while on their Southern California Rose Parade trip. In total, there were 46 host families that opened their doors to these exceptional 131 Japanese students.
