San Diego City College hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking for its new Science building, a four-story building with 98,978 gross square feet to house the Astronomy, Life Sciences and Physical Sciences programs.

The new building will include multiple laboratories, science lecture classrooms, a rooftop observation deck and a planetarium.
